Management

Seaford Early Learning Centre is privately owned by Haydn Jackson. Haydn has recently purchased the Centre and is passionate about the industry and the health and well being of children.  The Centre has a fully qualified Nominated Supervisor, Lorraine Duffy who will be on hand to answer any questions that may arise. In addition, the Centre has a support network of qualified and experienced child care professionals who are in place to use their additional knowledge to assist the centre team whenever necessary.

The centre is licensed and regulated by the Department for Education and Child Development. Please note the contact details for the Department  are displayed in the front foyer, or ask Lorraine for details and she will be happy to give them to you. The Centre operates under the relevant State Act and Regulations that oversee the operational standards of Childcare Centres.

Seaford Early Learning Centre is a registered participant of the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care. We are registered with the Family Assistance Office Child Care Benefit scheme, which provides funding and fee relief to clients.

We aim to create a friendly, secure place for children, where their independence and individuality is valued. We strive to meet the individual
needs of each child to enable them to reach their full potential by providing a learning environment which offers a stimulating, child centred program.

We recognise that different provisions may need to be made for individuals to ensure quality education for every child and the content of programs will reflect and value the experiences and contributions of all groups.

We trust that families, staff, and our local community will develop a sense of belonging and ownership of the Centre, working in partnership and valuing each others expectations and beliefs.

About Our Team

Seaford Early Learning Centre believes that the foundation of quality educational care for children lies in the experienced and qualified staff in our Centre.  We encourage and support staff to continue their professional development within the workplace through formal study, short courses,and on-the-job training.

We support a happy and nurturing environment for staff and endeavour to provide exceptional annual training sessions including our unique ”Managing Children's Behaviour“ sessions for all Centre staff, programming training, term curriculum development and communication workshops.

Seaford Early Learning Centre will meet or exceed all staffing requirements set out by the licensing body in this state.
Each Team Leader and Assistant is responsible for the organisation and curriculum of the centre under the guidance of the Director and Management. 

Teachers/Team Leaders are allocated childfree programming time each week to plan for and evaluate each child's ongoing development. This time is essential for the delivery of a high quality curriculum throughout the Centre.

Additional Assistants may work at the Centre when children with additional needs attend.
